About Us...
Borne from Hinckley in Leicestershire, Lambrettismo is the product of many years work of it's owner John.
Having spent several years employed in the photography industry, it was his role to process roll and slide films, produce duplicate film, process colour print under darkroom conditions, digitally scan 35mm negatives and retouch hundreds of thousands of 
photographs. Complete with City and Guilds qualifications in Graphic Communications and over 15 years of photography, graphic design and re-touching experience.
With client requests stretching from Advertising, Web Development, and graphic design work, John hopes that with the aid of this website he is able to showcase some of the work he produces.
With archives of work dating back 15 years it is impossible to display it all here, but he hopes that you can enjoy some of his more recent works.
John takes his influences from his interests, other than being a family man at home with his wife and children, his interests are wide spread from local history, photography, graphic design, Northern Soul, scooters and scootering to name a few.
Currently John is undertaking the research for a book on scootering codenamed Caffé Viareggio. He aims to cover a part of scootering history that has never been explained and he is pain stakingly researching historic documents and photographs, translating vintage Italian magazine articles, sourcing memorabilia and collaborating with various people the world over in order to produce this untold story.
